Evidence-based treatment tailored to your individual needs.

As psychologists, we share our knowledge of human behaviour, motivation, emotion, cognition, and relationships to shed light on what you are experiencing and to develop a treatment plan.

We focus on working together with you to help you get what you are hoping for from treatment. Whether you are someone who has a clear idea of what you need from treatment, or someone who can’t put their finger on it, we’re here to help.

Difficulties we commonly treat include: anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, anger issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder, insomnia, and perfectionism.

We provide a professional, non-judgmental, and discrete environment.

Individual Treatment

Individual sessions are one-on-one with a CCPS psychologist. The majority of our psychologists treat most  difficulties (e.g., anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties). If you are seeking treatment for an issue that fits with one of our psychologists’ areas of expertise, we suggest that you contact that particular psychologist. Psychologists’ areas of expertise can be viewed on their profile pages under the About Us section.

Your First Appointment

When you first contact your psychologist to arrange an appointment she / he will have a brief conversation with you to get a better idea of the difficulties you are having. Your psychologist will also answer any questions you may have.

During your first appointment your psychologist will complete a brief assessment designed to get to know you and the difficulties you are having. You and your psychologist will then develop a treatment plan and discuss a timeline for treatment.

Regular and “Booster” Appointments

Appointments are 50 minutes and may be scheduled weekly or every other week, depending on what works with your schedule and what is most likely to be effective. We do offer evening and some Saturday appointments.

Sometimes individuals find it helpful to “check in” every once in a while to troubleshoot issues they are having and/or to maintain the progress they have made in treatment. For this reason, we are pleased to offer “booster” appointments (e.g., 1 month check in, 6 week check in, 3 month check in) to our clients.
